The Florida Disaster Fund is administered by the Volunteer Florida Foundation (EIN 01-0973168), a 501(c)(3) that channels donations to nonprofit partners providing on-the-ground disaster response and recovery services across Florida.
Recent storms like Hurricane Milton left over 3 million without power and caused multiple fatalities—local agencies report that every dollar in the Fund goes straight toward critical aid, with no administrative fees taken out for recent Helene/Milton relief efforts.
